A common question we receive is how the participants were selected for the film trip. To ensure that we had a group of eight individuals who represented diversity of disabilities, age, ethnicity and ability, we solicited nominations from 15 organizations that specialize in adaptive recreation. Each organization was asked to submit applications for individuals whom they felt could both gain from and contribute to the experience.
